Strike: Labour minister meets aviation workers today

The Nigerian Air Traffic Controllers’ Association (NATCA) last Thursday embarked on a six-hour strike on alleged epileptic air navigation equipment and poor staff welfare.
Ikenya will also meet with the Air Transport Services Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (ATSSSAN) and other stakeholders in the aviation sector, including the minister of aviation, chairman of the National Salaries, Income and Wages Commission, md/ceo Nigerian air space management agency (NAMA) in his office in Abuja
A statement from the spokesman of the labour ministry Samuel Olowookere said the meeting is in continuation of efforts by the labour ministry to resolve the dispute.
