Chief Phlebotomist of National Blood Transfusion Service (NBTS), Mr. Uba Samson, has urges students to donate blood to patients.
Mr. Samson made the call at the Medical Center, Federal Polytechnic Bida, during a recent blood donation exercise in collaboration with the Association of Resident Doctors (ARD).
He said voluntary blood donation is good for the body as it does not only reduce the chances of having cancer but also reduces blood pressure.
