The National Association of Oduduwa Students (NAOS) has congratulated the President of Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, on his conferment of an Honorary Doctorate Degree (D.MT, Honoris Causa) by the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO).

In a statement signed by its National President, Comrade Olalere Benedict Adetunji, the association described the honour as a “well-deserved recognition” of Dangote’s contributions to national development, industrial growth and economic stability.

NAOS said the business magnate’s strides in building one of Africa’s leading indigenous conglomerates continue to inspire young Nigerians, particularly students who see him as a model of excellence and transformational leadership.

“Your visionary leadership has remained a source of inspiration to millions of young people,” the statement read. “Your achievements are a shining example of what dedication, discipline and entrepreneurial courage can produce.”

The association urged Dangote to sustain his investments in youth empowerment, scholarship schemes and industrial projects that expand opportunities for Nigerians and strengthen the country’s productive capacity.

NAOS congratulated him on the latest honour and wished him more national and international recognition for his contributions to Nigeria’s progress and global standing.
