Students construct mobile cold room

The final year students of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Federal Polytechnic, Bida, have constructed a vertical mobile cold room.

The cold room which has the capacity of accommodating and freezing about 450 sachets of ‘pure water,’ was designed and constructed as project by Michael Joshua,  Ejike Samson, James John Okafor and Eze Bidwell Amobi.

 James Okafor said the freezer was made from local materials. He said even thought they encountered challenges in the projects, students must improve their inventive thinking and expand their knowledge.
