The Nigerian Medical Students Association (NiMSA) has hailed the election of Professor Mike Ozovehe Ogirima as National President of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA).
Prof Ogirima, a professor of Orthapedics and Traumatology from the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH), Zaria, emerged president at an election held during the 56th National delegates meeting of NMA in Sokoto over the weekend.
A statement from the NiMASA secretariat in Bingham University Teaching Hospital (BUTH), Jos, signed by National President Musa Haruna Kereng, said the election of Prof. Ogirima was a step in the right direction.
