Students of Chemical Engineering Department of the Federal Polytechnic Bida have invented an electrocoagulation wastewater treatment plant.  The plant reduces the dangers of harmful chemicals in water.
In an exclusive interview with this reporter, the students’ coordinator, Engineer Haruna Muhammad, said the plant was a process that used electricity for water treatment. It had the capacity to use electric current to remove unwanted particles or contaminants usually found in wastewater to make it safe for drinking or domestic use.
