A suicide bomber driving a bomb-laden car Friday killed himself and several others in Kano metropolis.

 

It was gathered that the suicide bomber drove into the Magasirku petrol station in Hotoro area of the Kano metropolis around 7.pm Friday night and detonated the explosives in the car.

 

A base of the military  Joint Task Force is situated inside the petrol station.

On the spot, it was learnt that six persons including the suicide bomber and three policemen died. 

 

Our correspondent recalled that a female suicide bomber struck at the NNPC mega station near the scene of the Friday blast during the eid-el-fitr sallah.
