After matches of week nine, Sunshine Stars which lost 0-1 to Kaduna United slipped down to the third position while their closest rivals, Dolphins FC of Port-Harcourt took the top position with an away win over Crown FC.

However, in a chat with Trustsports, Idoko said Sunshine suffered a temporary setback which is not going to last for long as they hope to win today’s match against Kwara United.

He said Kwara United is a crack side but going by the level of his team’s preparation for the match, he can confidently say Kwara will fall.

Idoko said the team’s technical crew has got the players ion shape for today’s match.

According to the former manager of Lobi Stars and Warri Wolves FC, Sunshine is now the team to beat in the league but the players have been warned against any form of complacency.

He said the players have been made to understand that the league has not started yet and what they have achieved so far should not be enough to induce contentment.

His words: “Although most people feel we are doing well, I don’t think so. The league is still very young and so we can not say we have achieved so much. We are not going to rest on our oars. The players have been made to appreciate the need to be serious with every opponent.

“Tomorrow’s (today) match against Kwara United is going to be a big match. Kwara United will give us a good run for our money but if the mood in my team’s camp is anything to go by, we shall surely pick the three points.

“Although we are not playing in Akure, we have found home in Ijebu-Ode because fans like to watch good football and that is exactly what Sunshine Stars is offering them.
