Suntai: A pharmacist, governor or a pilot?

According to reports, Suntai was piloting the plane with a license obtained from the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaria.

My aim is not to encourage Suntai to upgrade his fleet but to bring out the absurdity of the levity with which Nigerian leaders regard the task of leadership.

Taraba is one of the most endowed states in Nigeria with abundant deposits of untapped (and even unknown) mineral resources, agricultural friendly environment, excellent tourism potentials. But it has been left striving to survive on handouts from the Federal Government. I have argued before that money should be flowing down those lush Mambila Mountains not crawling up them.

But sadly, Taraba has always fallen into the hands of accidental, unfocussed and unprepared leaders.
