SunTrust Bank Nigeria Limited has appointed Mr Ayo Babatunde as its new managing director/chief executive officer. 

He replaced Mr. Muhammad Jibrin, who left to contest the governorship of his home state of Gombe in 2019, a statement from the lender said.

The bank said Babatunde’s appointment had received all regulatory approvals. 

Babatunde was previously the senior vice president/regional treasurer of Ecobank Nigeria.
