The Supervising Minister of Education, Ezenwo Nyesom Wike has not resigned his appointment as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, statement from his Special Assistant on Media, Simeom Nwakaudu, has said.
According to the statement, “The report being circulated online to the effect that he has resigned is false in its entirety. It is planted report by mischief makers.
“The Minister last Saturday represented the President at the 43rd Convocation of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and today (Monday), the Minister was in the office to attend to attend to official functions in the Federal Ministry of Education.
“On thursday, he will be performing the ground breaking ceremony for the Special Vocational School in Delta State and will next week hold a town hall meeting for Federal Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education in the North East at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi.”
