Nigerians have been called upon to support elected representatives to enable them to deliver more dividends of democracy.

Sen. Umaru Tanko Al-Makura said this in a Sallah message and solicited for fervent prayers from all Nigerians to enable them translate their mandates into true and fair representations.

He said, “I urge all our good people to rally round the three tiers of government, especially at the federal level under President Muhammadu Buhari, to enable, and among others, to deliver more dividends of democracy.”

The senator who is representing Nasarawa South, said Ramadan fast taught the values of love, justice, equity and unity among other cherished virtues.

He further said as the Holy month of Ramadan came to an end, Muslims should assess their conducts and align their behaviours to the teachings of Islam.
