Supporters of General Buhari send him wishes as he celebrates his 71st birthday

“Today, by God’s special grace and boundless blessings, Muhammadu Buhari is 71, and in excellent condition.  Make today special by spreading love and compassion to those around you, and help us build a bridge of trust where none exists.
“Send us your prayers, thoughts and well-wishes here, and on twitter using the hashtage #saibuhari. Long Live Muhammadu Buhari! Long Live Nigeria”.
The social media experienced traffic gridlock as a lot of his supporters took to Facebook to send birthday wishes and greetings to him. This did not escape New Media’s notice. This is what people had to say:
Orue Omorodion: One thing I admire in you Sir, even though I am a Christian and you a Muslim, is that  you are the only one that has told Nigerians, including me, that you have only one house. I have been waiting to see if anyone would challenge your claim, but none has done that. For that, I sincerely respect and admire you very much. Happy birthday!
Olobayo Adebowale: Happy birthday to a leader some Nigerians never wanted to have.
David Ayodele: Happy birthday to you, Sir. I admire your spartan discipline and quality life. How many businesses, properties, investments etc. do you have all over the world? You are one of the very insignificant number of Nigerians that can make this nation great. I hope that they will give you a chance this time. I do not care whatever they say about you. I am a Christian. I have been voting for you and will do it again.
Samuel Apewalen: Contributing my tiny voice to the multitude, I say happy birthday and more years ahead. I wish we had more of your type in Nigeria.
Benson Ndaji: Happy birthday to you as I wish you more happy days ahead. In fairness to you, in your own time as Military Head of State, there was discipline in everything in Nigeria.
Bonaventure Melah: Happy birthday, great general and many more years. But at 71, it is time to retire from active politics. We do not have space for old men who cannot cope with global leadership realities. It is time you became a constructive statesman. Please do not toe the line of Obasanjo.  God bless you, great General.
Amby Ok: A very happy birthday to a man of sincere conscience and impeccable integrity. Sir, disregard all blackmail and misrepresentations by evil, corrupt men. Even those people know your value.
Austin Esekea: Happy birthday to my General and my hero. Please know that you have a lot of followers that you may not know. I am from Delta State and have shared in your vision and aspiration.
Judging by the comments, Gen. Buhari has a lot of support all over the country and they have shown the depth of their love for him through their wishes.
