The Tinubu Support Group (TSG) has said the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ahmed Bola Tinubu, will not shelve his 2023 presidential ambition as posited by the Director General of Voice of Nigeria (VON), Osita Okechukwu.

Okechukwu, a chieftain of the APC, had on Sunday asked Tinubu to shelve his ambition and play the role of a kingmaker by supporting a young aspirant from the South East to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari at the end of his tenure in 2023. 

But in a statement on Monday in Abuja, the Head of Media and Publicity of TSG, Adeyanju Oluwatosin, said though Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos State is currently focused on helping President Muhammadu Buhari to deliver on his campaign promises, he won’t shelve his ambition thereafter.
