A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Sir Marc Wabara, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his well-deserved victory at the Supreme Court.
The Supreme, on Thursday, dismissed the appeals filed by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party to challenge Tinubu’s victory after losing at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, PEPT.
In a statement, Wabara, who was a member of the Election Planning and Monitoring Committee of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, PCC, and member, Finance Committee of the Tinubu/Shettima Independent Campaign Council, TSICC, commended Tinubu.
He stated that President Tinubu’s speech that the Court victory had energised and strengthened his commitment to continue to serve, with honour, all Nigerians of all political persuasions, tribes and faith, further confirms the fact that the President is a man with a large heart.
Wabara, who was also the Deputy Director General, South, Coalition of Support Groups for Bola Ahmed Tinubu, COSGABAT, therefore, called on the opposition parties to respect the decision of the highest Court in the land, and embrace the efforts of the President towards ensuring sustainable growth and development for the country in line with his renewed hope Agenda.
Wabara prayed for God’s continued guidance for the President, and wished him successful tenure in office.
