Forty three percent of respondents in a Daily Trust survey shows that Nigerians find making New Year resolutions helpful.
A New Year’s resolution is a tradition, in which a person resolves to change traits and behavior, usually for the better or to accomplish personal goals that is targeted at improving their lives. This goals are often set as a New Year approaches.
The online survey which had a total of 138 respondents had started at 12/30/2017 and closed at 01/08/2018 on the Daily Trust website.
The 43 percent makes up 59 respondents who find making new year resolutions helpful.
However 49 respondents making up 35 percent do think making New Year resolutions are helpful and 30 respondents making up 22 percent of the votes are "indifferent".
