Operatives of the Edo State Police Command have arrested an armed robbery suspect, Eboh Ehimare (45), with guns while he was allegedly waiting for his gang members to carry out a robbery operation on the Benin-Auchi road.

The Commissioner of Police (CP), Funsho Adegbayo, said the suspect was arrested at No 128, Benin-Auchi Road, Benin City, and that during a search on him, one pump action gun, one locally made cut-to-size gun, two English pistols, two rounds of cartridges and a jack knife were recovered from him.
