A yet-to-be-identified suspected cable vandal has been electrocuted at Jabi, Abuja.

A witness, Solomon Israel, said the incident happened on Tuesday, around 9 am when the deceased lifeless body was found behind the cable.

He alleged that the suspect used a plier to cut the underground cables and got electrocuted instantly.

He said the lifeless body of the deceased was discovered by some passersby who immediately alerted policemen around Jabi and they drove to the scene and evacuated the corpse.

Israel said a similar incident happened around Jabi-Daki Biyu last month when a hoodlum was also electrocuted while attempting to vandalize transformer cables in the area.

When contacted, the spokeswoman of the FCT police command, Josephine Adeh, said, “I will confirm and revert to you, please”
