The police in Kiru Local Government Area of Kano State have arraigned a man before a Shari’a Court, Kiru, over alleged theft of a cow valued at N800, 000.
Idris Ibrahim Yako filed a complaint at Kiru police station over his missing cow, which footsteps were allegedly traced to the resident of the suspect, Basiru Sanusi Yako, who had also been heard allegedly vowing in public to steal the cow.

When the charges were read to the suspect, he pleaded not guilty and Khadi Aliyu Yahaya Kura admitted him to a bail in the sum of N100,000 with one surety in like sum.
