A suspected motorcycle snatcher, identified as Bello Marwanu Abubakar, has been arrested in the Ganuma community of Kogi Local Government Area of Kogi State.
He was said to have been apprehended by the vigilantes on Friday after a tip off.
It was alleged that the suspect snatched a motorcycle from one John Adamu after heating him with a hard object.
The head of ICT/ Media unit, office of the Comptroller-General of the vigilantes, S.O. Saka, confirmed the arrest, saying the suspect, Bello Marwanu Abubakar, was arrested following a report that he allegedly snatched a motorcycle from one John Adamu on June 12.

He said, “Reports indicate that the suspect attempted to kill the victim by striking him on the head with a hard object. The victim was subsequently rushed to the hospital for medical treatment.
“All recovered items, along with the suspect, have been handed over to the Nigeria Police Force, Koton-Karfe Division for further investigation and appropriate legal action.”
