A 42-year-old man in Fadan Karshi, Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State has died from gunshot wounds he sustained from suspected armed robbers.

The man, Augustine Husseini, a primary school teacher, reportedly died on Sunday at the Federal Medical Centre, Keffi in Nasarawa State where he was taken for medical attention by authorities of the Sanga LGA after suspected armed robbers shot him at Fadan Karshi.

Confirming the incident, the Executive Chairman of the local government council, Mr Charles Danladi, said the robbery attack happened Saturday night.

He said he visited the victim at the hospital on Sunday morning but was later told that he died later in the afternoon.

In a similar development, Danladi has revealed that the corpse of a young farmer, Matthew Thomas, was reportedly found with deep cuts on the head between Fadan Karshi and his village on Tuesday morning.

He said the police in the area were already investigating the matter.
