Police in the FCT have arrested a man for allegedly using a toy gun to rob.

The suspect was identified as Sheriff Kaliph in a statement by the command’s spokesman, DSP Anjuguri Manza.

He said the suspect was trailed to Lokoja, Kogi State where he was arrested following a complaint by some victims.

He said two vehicles, and a toy gun were recovered from the suspect.

He said the suspect will be arraigned in court upon completion of investigation.

The PPRO also said three men were arrested for being in possession of a stolen car. He said the arrest was made after a discreet investigation by police operatives attached to the command.

Manza, who gave the names of the suspects as Chibuzor Anufuna, Sani Abdullahi and Abdullahi Danladi, said a Toyota Camry car was stolen by the gang in Kebbi State.

He said the suspects have confessed their involvement in the case and they have been handed over to Kebbi State police command for continuation of investigation.
