Operatives of the Delta State Police Command have arrested two men, Chinedu Enenmo (37) and Donatus Ndukan (34) for allegedly supplying ammunition to kidnappers, armed robbers and cultists in the state.
DSP Bright Edafe, the spokesman of the command, who disclosed this to newsmen, said the suspects were from Akere Ogidi in Ogbaru LGA and Urom community in Awka-North LGA of Anambra State respectively.
He said one of the suspects, Chinedu Enenmo, was arrested in his hideout in one of the popular hotels in Asaba where they hibernated and carried out their nefarious activities, while Donatus Ndukan, whom he described as Enenmo’s boss, was arrested in Fegge area of Onitsha in Anambra State.
He added that 250 rounds of live cartridges were recovered from the suspects.

Edafe also disclosed that two other suspects, Eddy Aboyowa (37) and Akpani Isaiah (35), both of Eyiejuku Street, off Deco Road, Warri, were arrested with 30 rounds of 7.62 AK-47 live ammunition.
