The Federal Government has arraigned former governor of Benue State, Gabriel Suswam on fresh charges of illegal possession of firearms.

Suswam is already facing charges of money laundering before a Federal High Court in Abuja.

The latest charges reads that Suswam on 24th February without lawful authority had in his possession one glock pistol, one mini rifle  and one AK47 concealed in a Mercedes benz.

On second count, Suswam had 29 rounds of 40 MBG Whinchester Ammunition and 56 rounds of 7.66mm Live ammunition concealed in the car.

On third count, the former governor at Dunes converted 25 designer wrist watches worth millions of naira, derived from corruption, concealed in his car.
