Initiator of the project Uloma Rochas Okorocha explained that she decided to start it after realising that one man alone cannot cater for the educational needs of the Nigerian children. “I saw thousands of children crying to get into the school (her father’s) and asked my mum why we couldn’t take them all in. The look on her face told me that one man can only go thus far. It was then that the Face of Hope was conceived.”
Makun and Duru were first and second runners up respectively and went home with the cheque sums of N1 m and N500, 000 while Sylvanus went home with the sum of N1.5million.
