Real estate experts have called on Lagos residents to consider creating wealth through real estate by investing in Ibeju lekki, describing it as the fastest growing area in sub Saharan Africa.
The experts who took turn to talk at the launch of Perfection Cooperative Estate Phase 1, situated in Ibeju-Lekki at Sheraton Hotel and Towers.
Mr Debo Adejana, the guest speaker at the event said: “the only asset with amazing capital appreciation is real estate, and properties in Ibeju lekki is set to return more than 300 per cent in another 3 to 5 years.”
He noted that the area is turning out to be the construction centre of Africa, with the Dangote refinery, the Lagos Free trade zone and the second Lagos airport all at various stages of construction.
According to the President of the cooperative society, Mr. Niyi Adeleye; the unveiling scheme is the first phase in Ibeju-Lekki axis, noting that the second phase is nearing completion while there is another scheme fast developing in Ikorodu axis.
Among the products the cooperative society has to offer are 2 and 3-bedroom terrace houses, blocks of flats and high-rise buildings comprising mixed apartment units, as well as plots of land for customized-building.
