Jaden spent time in China learning Kung Fu in order to play the role of a boy who resolved to learn martial arts after he was bullied. Jackie Chan has been impressed by the young Smith, saying he did not expect him to do so well because of his “privileged background” after his own son failed to learn kung fu despite having some of the best martial artists as tutors. The movie is scheduled for release June 11, 2010.
