Speaker of the House of Representatives Aminu Tambuwal, Jigawa State Governor Sule Lamido shunned a meeting held today with President Goodluck Jonathan by the North-West chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Party stalwarts from the zone arrived the Presidential Villa at about 12.00 noon for the meeting which was yet to commence at 1.15pm.

UPDATE:

The meeting started at 1.35pm and it is still going on at the moment

Katsina State Governor Ibrahim Shema arrived the venue of the meeting at 1.55pm

Among those in attendance are former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Gali Umaru Na’aba; Kaduna State Governor Ramalan Yero; Kebbi State Governor Saidu Dakingari; Sokoto State Deputy Governor Muktar Shehu Shagari; the son of the late former Head of State, Sani Abacha, Mohammed Abacha;  Former Sports Ministers, Samaila Sambawa and Bala Kaoje.

Vice President Mohammed Namadi Sambo and Special Duties Minister Kabiru Turaki, both of whom are from the zone, are also in attendance.
