Tambuwal visits Osun, commends Gov Oyetola

Sokoto State Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal

Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto State has commended his Osun counterpart, Adegboyega Oyetola, for the physical development and industrial harmony in the state.

Tambuwal disclosed this on Friday during his visit to Osogbo, the state capital.

The Sokoto governor was accompanied on the visit by a former minister of water resources and former deputy governor of the state, Mukhtar Shagari, and Senator Ahmed Maccido.

Tambuwal said, “I have followed your trajectory since you became governor three years ago and I have noticed steady improvement in the fortunes of the state.

“You have restored the payment of full salaries. And you are still providing infrastructure despite the obvious economic challenges.

“The steady growth and development Osun is witnessing under your leadership is highly commendable.”

Responding, Oyetola sympathised with the Sokoto State Government over the spate of armed banditry in the state and applauded the governor for the giant strides he has recorded since he was elected governor.
