NUPENG President Comrade Igwe Achese gave the assurance in a statement in Lagos against the recent Onitsha and Lagos tanker fires which left 70 people dead
Igwe, who commiserated with the families of the dead implored the federal government to rehabilitate the railways to haul petroleum products in order to reduce the burden on the high ways.
He sympathized with Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State and his Anambra State counterpart Willie Obiano on the loss of lives of its citizens following the accidents, just as he implored them to assist the families of those who lost loved ones and their properties.
