The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Taraba State, Lt Col Kefas Agbu (Rtd), has said he will use the experience he acquired in the military to address the security challenges bedeviling the state if elected governor on March 11.

He spoke in Jalingo during an interview with newsmen, explaining that Taraba was a multi-ethnic and multi-religious state, stressing that his administration would unite the state and provide peace.

He said, “In our state, you will discover that in every family or home there are Muslims, Christians and pagans, and this should serve as a unifying factor for peace and understanding among the people of the state.”

He noted that his victory at the Supreme Court was not a victory for himself, but for the entire PDP members, and urged all members of the party and key stakeholders to collectively work for the victory of the party at the polls.

In his remarks, the Deputy Governor of the state, Haruna Manu, expressed optimism that PDP would win the state on March 11.
