Taraba royal father urges NULGE to resolve differences

The Chief of Ibbi, in Taraba State Alhaji Abubakar Salihu Danbawuro, has called on officials of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), in the state to resolve to work toward resolving the conflict bedevilling the union.
The royal father made the call in Ibbi, headquarters of Ibi Local Government Area during the inauguration of NULGE new Secretariat in Ibbi town, Tuesday.
Alhaji Abubakar Salihu also urged officials of the union to use the edifice for the purpose intended to resolve their differences for the overall interest of the union.
The royal father said NULGE, as one of the strong unions in the state should address the conflict confronting them in order to have one voice and work for the development of the council areas.
Earlier in his address, the Taraba State NULGE chairman, Musa Muhammad, lauded officials of the Ibbi branch of the union for their foresight and pledged his support to carry the union to a greater heights, adding that government was aware of their plight and was working hard to resolve the issues.
Also speaking, the Ibbi Local Government branch chairman, Malam Tanko Burba, said the aim of the office is to ensure that NULGE has a conducive atmosphere to carry out its functions.
Malam Burba stated further that the history of the secretariat would not be complete without mention of the support it received from Chief of Ibbi and the former branch chairman of the union, Mr. Emmanuel Ubadoma. He urged the union members to emulate their leadership style in order to move the union and Ibbi Local Government Area forward.
