The senator representing Taraba South, (PDP) Mr Emmanuel Bwacha, has donated science laboratory to Federal University Wukari worth N500 million.

Commissioning the project, Senator Bwacha said the laboratory was equipped with modern science facilities and was donated to enhance learning and research programmes in the institution.

He said he was also in touch with other Federal Government agencies in an effort to get more assistance and support for the institution.

Earlier in his address, the vice chancellor, Professor  Abubakar Kundiri, said the project was in recognition of importance of education in society building by senator Bwacha.

Senator Bwacha had also provided scholarships to 262 students in his constituency studying at various tertiary institutions across the country.
