The former Milan defender, who represented Nigeria at both the France 1998 and Japan 2002 FIFA World Cups was responding to a text message by Fever Pitch which asked of his opinion regarding the dramatic return of Keshi after Amodu Shuaibu has been put in place in an interim basis to see out the remaining two games and Eagles chances of making it to next year’s continental showpiece after dismal performances that places the team behind Group A leaders South Africa and Congo in the standings.

Meanwhile, not ready to let go the opportunity of qualifying ahead of Nigeria, Congo has gone shopping for more firepower ahead of the country’s match with Nigeria on November 15.
The latest to join the Congolese attack, which shocked Nigeria 3-2 in Abuja early in the campaign, is Hibernian of Scotland striker, Dominique Malonga who has scored six goals in nine games for Hibernian.
The 25-year-old striker, born in the Paris suburbs to Congolese parents, represented France at Under-19 level, but has never played full international football.
He has been on Congo’s radar for a number of years, but has always declined the offer to avoid missing club matches until now.
