The entire Katsina Youth Science and Technology Initiative (KAYSTI) wishes to congratulate the great leaders with the hope that the vision of vibrant and progressive state will be achieved under their tenure.
The Katsina people especially the youth have expectations from Masari in four key growth areas of the economy including agriculture, education, youth empowerment and security.
Many youths believe in the strength of our amiable leader Alh. Aminu Bello Masari to restore the hope of Katsina people.
KAYSTI presents these views in segments with responses from many of the comments and remarks taken from Katsina youth.
As the administration starts its function in office, a number of youth have expressed their hope and readiness to venture into agriculture business with once conducive environment provided by Alh. Masari’s administration.
The new Government of Katsina state should pay more attention to the provision of fertilizer to farmers, as a way of boosting the interest of youth in the sector, government should strengthen our organic fertilizer plant to work efficiently especially with the opportunity of abundant Neem plants in the state.
It is on record that no society or nation that will ever survive on illiteracy or on poor education. Very few people can afford choice education due to the quality of schools and their services in today’s Nigeria. Free education without well qualified and skills teachers will not auger well for our educational system.
Katsina people want the best for their children so they make effort to send them to the school they could best afford. We urge the youth to give the present government their own support , nation building can only take place when there is individual sacrifice, so it is our collective responsibility to join hand together an move Katsina state forward. 
The newly government should concentrate and pay more attention to the issue of science and technology programmes especially building a standard and well equipped laboratory in our tertiary institution and to have well train technologists in Katsina state.
Government should engage youths in skills acquisition programmes related to science and technology initiatives for self reliance. Science and technology is the most effective weapon in the struggle towards the reduction and eventually the eliminating of abject poverty in society.
Government should support the security agencies to wipe away or reduce crime rate in the state especially cattle rustlers which cripple down our economic sector in the state and also strengthen and create a well vibrant volunteer force within the communities for civil defense and security. Most of all the criminals come from the community. So, if the community takes security serious and they work with all the elements of security agencies, we won’t have high rate of insecurity within our communities.
To be able to do that means the traditional rulers have a responsibility. We need to go back to the past when the Emirs were in charge of security within those communities.
Finally I want to urge the entire Youth of this great state to continue their full support and pray for our newly leaders in Katsina state.
