The vehicles are;Tata Xenon double cabin pick up, Tata LPT 407 truck, Tata LPT 1116 truck and LPT 2523 truck.

The company also unveiled new standards of vehicle warranty tenure in the country.

Speaking at the launch in Lagos, Mr Sudeep Ray, Executive Director, Tata Nigeria said following the launch of the new range, his company will now be offering a complete solution of distribution vehicles and after sales service in Nigeria, with vehicles starting from half ton to 60 ton payload.

He reiterated the commitment of the company in expanding after sales service, which he said was a key success factor in the nation’s automobile industry.

According to him, new service centers have been launched nationwide, adding that new ones will be added every three months.

Speaking on his company’s current efforts to ensure customers satisfaction, Sudeep said there is a 24hour help line, a towing truck, a service van and eight service partners presently in the country..

Also speaking, Mr Anil Sekhar, Regional Manager, North and West Africa, Tata Motors Limited, commended Tata Nigeria on after sales service centres and applauded its success in handling major vehicles supply projects in Nigeria.

Mr Gerard Nayagam, General Manager, Tata Nigeria made a brief presentation on behalf of Tata Daewoo Commercial vehicles on heavy duty tractor heads, the Tata Novus 4 x 2 and Tata Novus 6×4.

He said the launch of the new warranty policy will be the benchmark for warranty norms in the history of the country.

According to him, light commercial vehicles will get 3years guarantee or 300,000 kilometres, intermediate commercial vehicles 2-years warranty or 200,000 kilometres, medium commercial vehicles 2-years or 200,000 kilometers, buses 2-years or 200,000 kilometres and tractor heads 2-years or 180,000 kilometres.
