Prof. Garba Dahuwa Azare, Director-General, National Teachers’ Institute, Kaduna, has lauded the support the institute has been enjoying from the Commonwealth of Learning (COL), Vancouver, Canada.
Azare made the commendation during the opening of a workshop on Gender Analysis organised in collaboration with COL, under the Green Teacher programme in Kaduna.
Represented by the Director of Examinations, Mal. Bashir Mamman, he said the institute was grateful to COL for its support over the years.
“Only a fortnight ago, we organised a workshop on Problem-Based Learning (PBL) for core team members and field officers with support of COL.
“Our staff are now fully equipped with all the necessary skills and knowledge of problem-based learning as a viable approach to providing solutions to emerging issues on the environment,” he added.
