The website, where job seekers are expected to apply, for recruitment into the Lagos State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has remained inaccessible for applicants 14 hours after the application entry opened.
Daily Trust had earlier reported that the Lagos State Government has announced plans to employ a total of 1,000 teachers into public secondary schools across the state through TESCOM.
This was disclosed by the Chairman, Lagos State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), Mrs Olabisi Ariyo, in a statement made available to newsmen.
Application submissions for the recruitment exercise which was billed to open on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 till Wednesday, November 20, 2019, is expected to last for one week only.
Many intending applicants who are already agitated said they could not access the web portal to submit their applications, our reporter gathered.
When our reporter also surfed the website, it said “this site can’t be reached.”
However, effort to reach out to the TESCOM chairman was unsuccessful as at the time of filing this report.
