A Microsoft Authorised Education Partner, Track-IT, has announced the kick-start of it’s Information and Communication Technology (ICT) literacy programme in partnership with the management of the Command Day Secondary school Ojo, Lagos.

In a statement made available to Daily Trust, the ICT literacy programme is described as one that aims at providing enabling platforms for teachers to acquire literacy competency skills, using new and mordern technological materials to impact learnings.

“This partnership has given rise to the establishment of a state-of-the-art computer laboratory in the school to cater for teachers’ professional development in the areas of 21st century skills and Microsoft certifications. 

“The beneficiary teachers are the first batch that benefitted from a rigorous preparatory training offered by Track IT Ltd which later culminated in their writing and passing the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification examinations,” a part of the statement read.

The School Commandant, Lt Col MS Baippaya was quoted as describing the newly acquired skills as ones that will make the teachers well-positioned in integrating various forms of technology into their teaching and learning processes in order to achieve better students in learning outcomes.
