An Ebute Meta, Chief Magistrate Court in Lagos State on Wednesday remanded a 16-year-old who allegedly stabbed a fellow teenager to death during a cult clash.
The defendant allegedly committed the crime on October 21, at Ijanikin, Lagos.
The prosecutor, Insp. Chinalu Uwadione, said the suspect stabbed one 14-year-old Abdullahi Wasiu in the chest, killing him on the spot, during a cult clash between Oto Awori Secondary School and Government Secondary School Boys, both in Ijani jikin, Lagos.
The court did not take the defendant’s plea.
Chief Magistrate A.O. Adedayo ordered that he should be kept at the Special Correctional Centre for Boys in Oregon, Lagos.
Adedayo adjourned the case to December 11 for mention. (NAN)
