A teenager has been killed by an over-speeding car on Wednesday along Ihiala road, opposite Starch mill Uli, Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State.
An eyewitness said the boy was crossing the road when a Toyota Sienna, with registration number LSR 748 GN, lost control and knocked him down.
Spokesperson of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Florence Edor, confirmed the incident, saying it was caused by over-speed.
She said the boy was confirmed dead by a doctor on duty, and his corpse has been deposited at a mortuary.
