The incident happened around 9am and the deceased died at the hospital where he was receiving treatment.
Daily Trust Saturday gathered that his death angered other youths from his Badarawa Kwaru community as they also stabbed a youth from the Unguwar Yero community in retaliation.
A youth leader in the area who identified himself as Mohammad Mohammed said security agencies have been deployed to the area to maintain law and order.
It was gathered that the two communities have history of religious and ethnic crisis in the state.
The recent incident almost took an ethnic dimension if not for the intervention of police from the Operation Yaki outfit.
When contacted, the State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Mohammed Jalige, who promised to call back after getting details of what transpired from the Divisional Police Officer at the community didn’t called back and didn’t respond to his calls as at the time of filing this report.
