Presidential Candidate of the platform of the New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP), Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has paid a condolence visit to the people of Ondo State over the attack on St Francis Catholic Church.
Over 40 worshippers were killed when terrorists invaded the church two weeks ago.
Kwankwaso during the visit called on the Federal Government to do more in ensuring security of the live of Nigerian citizens and residents of the country, adding that security should be a top priority.
Speaking at the Palaces of Prince Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye, the Olowo of Owo as well as the Ojomo of Ijebu Palace, the former Defence Minister commended the governor for his resolve to improve the security of the state.
A statement by the Media Aide to the presidential candidate, Saifullahi Hassan, said Kwankwaso also visited the scene of the attack and condole with the residents.
While praying for peace to be restored in the country, Kwankwaso prayed for the departed souls.
