Nigeria is the nation where I belong. I am not going anywhere; it is here I come to stay. A place I have come to stay not to become a prey. I am full of dreams but been discourage because of the mundane events happening in my country.
I sit back on the chair watching and thinking there is nothing I can do. I point fingers at others analysing what they should have done, for the betterment of our dear nation. I do become happy when things are done to my favour not minding if someone is hurt.
But so I realise there is something that needs to be done; that starting from me the CITIZEN. I will be the citizen that protects the integrity of my beloved country, I will promote peace and harmony for us all to stay, I will consider us as one for a unified nation. I know I can do all this because I now consider the country as mine and for us.
I will discourage political apathy because politics has come to stay in my country, I will participate to bring forth good leaders. I will get my PVC (personal voter card) ready to bring in good and take out bad leadership.
Surely my vote will count.
