Its peculiarity, enormity and significance to our existence as creatures of Allah have often times necessitated scholars to admonish us on the need to make some positive adjustments in the way we live our lives. It is only by so doing that we shall be saved on the last day.
Prior to the reckoning process, the atmosphere of the day is described as horrific and severe. The sun will be stationed by Allah at an altitude not far from our heads.  This will bring about brazing sunshine, which will give rise to thawing of skulls with an extraordinary craving for water in order to quench an unbearable thirst.
However, some people will be exempted from these ordeals. Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was quoted in one Hadith, revealing the characteristics of seven individuals that on the Day of Judgment are eligible to be accommodated under the divine’s shade — where succour and serenity shall reign.
Who are these people? And what are their features?
The beneficiaries of this coveted gesture are individuals like you and I, but distinguished in their unrivalled qualities, thus becomes endeared to Allah. Abu Huraira (RA) has reported the Prophet outlining each of the seven features of these people.
Firstly, the leader that led his subordinates based on the principles of justice. Secondly, the child that commences worshipping Allah at tender age and continues in his advanced years until death. Thirdly, the person who likes the mosque at all times.
