The elites have snatched the security

The elites of this country deliberately snatched the securities of this country. Until the numbers of these securities attached to these elites are reduced otherwise, part of our security challenges will keep on bedevilling us as a nation. Today in a country like Nigeria, it is unfortunate and quite disheartening that the poor and those citizens living in hamlet are still wallowing in abject poverty struggling on how to survive battling with daily three square meals. Today, their lives are in danger, they can no longer go to farm even in their own suburb areas of their community and neither travel for their normal commercial activities due to the security challenges ranging from kidnapping, arm bandits, community clashes, in places like Kaduna Katsina and most especially Zamfara state.

The security personnel are majorly protecting the political elites of this country. All the political office holders from Governors and their deputies and family members have enough security personnel, Ministers, Directors, Permanent secretaries, all lawmakers from state house of assembly to national assembly are well equipped with security personnel, commercial banks and all other government institutions, ministries and private companies, also retired generals are inclusive. The question is then where are the security personnel to protect common citizens in this country and protect lives and properties since most of the securities are attached to either political office holders or government appointees. Is there any hope for common man in this country, society can never live in peace if injustice prevails and becomes the practice of the day.

As a matter of urgency the federal government need to increase the numbers of security personnel or reduced the numbers of those attached to the elites to curtail crimes in our nation our father land Nigeria one nation great people.
