How far have you gone with the video project?

The project is so far successful. We have gone a long way with the work. By the grace of God, we have done what we targeted to achieve in terms of quality and all other expected ingredients.

However, some people who were privileged to watch the video said the main track, Things Change is the best. But to me, I believe all are equally good. Things Change is the title of the album.

The theme is around the message that portrays the life of a young man who discovered that he needed God to succeed in his struggles. As he got God involved in what he was doing, the Lord uplifted him and success became his story. So all the tracks are essentially good and have strong messages.

What other post production plans do you have for the entire project?

First, I want to round up all the elements. Then I will move up with the media showcase of the project. I’m working with both local and international TV stations and media to make the world get to view the video. Presently, we have worked out some arrangements with some particular stations. They’ll soon start playing the videos for my fans to enjoy and for the gospel to be sent across.

Any album launch plan?

It is not all about the glamour but the message of salvation. Nevertheless, I’m still working on the launch plan. God willing, any moment from now, it will be out. Say by the middle of the year. However, I’m still available to sing and touch lives with my music. With or without launch, I’m out to sing and touch lives with my music.

As a gospel artist, do you get paid to sing?

Well, in the industry generally, there are bound to be negotiations and all that. But the main aim should be how to send the message across. However, when I am called upon to minister, I must minister, with or without anything because the most important thing is for the message to get across.

Even if you are paid millions, if the essence is not captured, it is a waste of time and energy. As long as I have the opportunity to share the message, I am satisfied. Though I know the cost implication of making songs and video, I don’t care, the message is my priority.
