– What difference does it make – murderers should not be allowed to hide under legal inanities.
– I am talking of the guy who murdered Cecil the Cat.
– Cecil the Cat? Is that someone’s nom de guerre?
– Cecil is the head of a pride of lions in Zimbabwe’s Hwange National Park. He was lured out of the park by a wicked dentist from America who paid $55,000 dollars to kill a lion but rather than hunt for a wild one, he lured Cecil, the park’s money maker and shot it with an arrow. This action has left any cubs susceptible to being mauled by any alpha male seeking to take over the pride.
– $55k to hunt a lion!
– Yes, lion. You know, the huge African cat, one of the continent’s endangered species and celebrated to be the king of the jungle. Don’t tell me you haven’t been following the most prominent news headline from the continent.
– The most prominent news from the continent – death of a lion.
– Yes, rich white folks work hard to save money to come to Africa to hunt game. They have an exotic name for it – trophy hunting. Imagine if this obnoxious practice continues, our grandchildren would have to queue up for European and American visas, suffer the inhumane treatment of being tagged economic migrants, pay through their noses for flight tickets and risk being gunned down by the likes of Dylan Roof just to see live, miserable zoo species of animals that are indigenous to Africa.
– The other time, some white folks went to Africa to have sex with under aged girls. They come here to do what is prohibited in their own land. And this ‘news’ is hotter than the reported Ebola vaccine.

– Yes, mostly disposable Africans, not wild cats?

– Oh Nkurunziza is life president in Burundi. Anyone that tries pays with his or her life. They simply disappear, swallowed by the gods of retribution.
– What do we care about wildlife anyway? We hunt down everything for meat – animals, rodents, ruminants; even worms are eaten to extinction. The African believes that when God said He made every animal for meat, he was talking exclusively to him. So when we have nothing left but humans we also hunt down each other through wars and political strife.

– So when did we start caring about cats? And the people who are carrying the story, how long did they work on the harsh tag – black lives matter?

– Two thousand African migrants are currently marooned between France and the UK; uncountable others die daily in the desert or at sea.
– Well, they save their relatives’ huge funeral costs. Its second slavery and even those who survived the first slavery in America, what is their current status? About 600 black lives have been wasted this year alone by white supremacists. Who cares? A court in Libya has sentenced Gadaffi’s last surviving son to death by firing squad even though it has no access to him in custody. The man’s former spy chief, al-Sennusi faces a similar fate but nobody is campaigning – they are not Cecil the cat! Those guys can’t raise funds for a cash-strapped Libya.

– Fact-check: within days of the news of Cecil’s assassination, animal lovers have contributed nearly half a million dollars to help conservation in Africa?

– Ask Ban Ki Moon? What’s an African child worth when you guys breed faster than cats? Half the population of adult black males in America is in jail.

– A court in Egypt has sentenced several Muslim Brotherhood members to death; we are reducing population by every means including judicial murder, political strife and religious extremism. We place no value on our own lives. There are 96 million cats in American homes. Americans would die for their pets. They regard them as family. Africans think in terms of Christian/Muslim, tribes and regions.

– Yes he made long speeches, left a deep gash in security votes in the nations he visited. If he noticed wasted black lives he would address that at the level of the United Nations where members make loads of promises.
