Ibrahim Gowon, son of former military leader General Yakubu Gowon says while he loves classics, the last good book he’s read is Khaled Hossseini’s  ‘A Thousand Splendid Suns’. “And also, I have read another of his books titled ‘The Kite Runner’. When I read it I was so involved in it that I looked forward to reading the next one. It’s clear a lot of personal experience went into the book, which makes it very interesting. I’m looking forward to getting his third book. I have been checking out Amazon.com to see when it becomes available.”
