This book is a biography of a contemporary polish painter and his son who committed suicide, whereas the painter was murdered.
“I read it because the painter and his son are both artists and when I was a teenager in high school I was fascinated by his paintings which were very dramatic,” Pawluk says, adding that she had an album, pictures of his paintings.
Pawluk had this book with her anywhere she went until she finished reading.
Pawluk is currently an editor and coordinator of Agora SA (Gazeta Wyboorcza) a news media in Poland and also manages its social campaigns.
